When we commenced operation with our first X-Ray tomograph in 1998, we were convinced of this technology’s future sustainability. Today, we are specialized in the realm of non-destructive testing through the use of various techniques for a broad range of industrial components.

Our material inspectors provide specific knowledge in 3D computer tomography, digital radiography, X-Ray, ultrasound, magnetic particle, eddy current and dye penetrant (fluorescence) testing as well as in endoscopy and videoscopy. With our qualified testing staff at our sites in the Stuttgart and Wolfsburg areas, Detroit & Tuscaloosa (USA) and Slovakia, along with our highly specialized machinery, we are able to examine large amounts of parts quickly, comprehensively, and in great detail.

Utilizing our expertise with 2D X-Ray analyses and computer tomography, as well as by using optical 3D scanners and up-to-date 3D printers, our engineering sector is able to support our clients in the development and prototyping of new products. Computer tomography

The computer tomography provides the possibility of visualisation high-resolutioned cross sectional diagnosis. Furthermore this technique enables a virtual Fly Through over all mechanic and electronic products.

3D Object Scanning

The technique of 3D Object Scanning enables the captures even of complex surface structures quickly, precisely and cost-effectively. Your components will be visualised accurately in every detail.

3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping

As further service we offer the possibility of a three dimensional rendition of the measured results by using our 3D Printer.

2D / 2,5D X-Ray analyses

The 2D X-Ray analysis represents the quickest and almost cost-effective method of X-Ray techniques. Furthermore we provide the 2,5D X-Ray method as an almost unique technique.

Ultrasonic testing

The Ultrasonic technology is one of the famoust Non-destructive analyses methods and is based on the propagation of high-frequency sound waves. Their characeristic reflection is detected by a search unit and subsequently analysed using special instruments.

Eddy current testing

The Eddy current method is an electromagnetic testing technique for all electric or conductive materials. This method makes use of electromagnetic induction inside the matieral and detects all surface flaws, fractures or inhomogenities in the material.

(Dye) Penetrant Testing

The Penetrant Testing is one of the simplists and oldest Non-destructive testing methods to detect and locate all surface-breaking discontinuities in the material of your subject. This method is suitable in order to detect surface fissures below 1 µm – analysing in our lab or on-site at your location.

Magnetic Particle Testing

The magnetic particle inspection method enables the analysis of the surface and subsurface discontinuities only in ferromagnetic matierals.

Endoscopy and Videoscopy

With our smallest endoscopes and videoscopes we are able to reach areas in the matieral that were previously hidden. This technique can be done with highly flexible or steep endoscopes.
